Beau: "Bye-bye, Mommy!"
Me: "Where are you boys going?"
Beau: " To save the day."

Say what?!

Beau: Mommy, when is Luke coming?
Me: Sometime after Thanksgiving. Mommy will go to the hospital for his arrival and then we'll both come straight home.
Beau: Oh no he won't. Luke is going straight to timeout.
Me: What? Why?
Beau: Becausehe won't stop kicking you and that's not nice.
Charlie: Not nice, Mommy.

They have a point...

And so it begins...

Well Beau has officially started T-ball. And while he is still more interested in the lovebugs, it's pretty cute to watch him out there. Daddy is proud and Charlie can't wait to join him.

Spring is in the air...

...kind of.  We took advantage of yesterday's GORGEOUS weather to bring the boys to the park.  Good thing too, since the weather was so short-lived - last night it dipped down into the 30s!!  Here are some shots from yesterday.  Oh, and we ran into our favorite triplets while we were playing.  

Reindeer food! (...again...)

Back by popular demand, Reindeer Food for the boys' classmates.  I apologize for not having any photos of the boys making the reindeer food, but I had my hands quite full with cheerios, M&Ms, sprinkles, and two very excited little boys.  Throwing a camera in the mix would have been too much!

Beau came home from school this week with a letter to Santa laying out his wish list.

Well, he may be impractical, but at least he's not greedy.

Look Who's Three!

Ok, look who's three and a couple months...sorry for the delay.  (And yes, Sarah, I realize I am 15 months behind his second birthday post.  It will happen...one day.)

Our favorite little guy had a fantastic birthday party back in October.  The theme, naturally, was Mickey Mouse.  My oh my, this boy LOVES Mickey Mouse.

Yee Haw! Agustin got hitched y'all!

So, backing it up a bit.  September and October were crazy busy for the Brian family and one huge event in all this was Billy's cousin's wedding.  Agustin and Lexi got married in true Texas style in Austin, Texas at the Smith Chapel at Riverbend Church.  From the attire (burnt orange vests) to the music (the bride walked down the aisle to "The Eyes of Texas are Upon You") there was no denying this was a very "UT" wedding. 

But the weekend was full of lots of firsts...

Waiting at the airport.  Did you know the ice cream store opens at 9am?  Yep, explain that one to a toddler.

All in all it was a great weekend.  Beau was on his game and was by far the most charming ring bearer ever.  He even gracefully wore his burnt orange tie, despite his loyal allegiance to the Tigers.
